1) Understand the role of a jungler
The first thing you need to do is understand how the role works. In general, junglers are champions that have abilities which scale with levels and are best at killing neutral monsters (camps) in the jungle so they can earn experience and gold. The main purpose of the jungler is to support their team by helping to take down turrets, provide vision throughout the map and securing neutral objectives such as dragon or baron.
2) Find a good jungler for your team
Depending on what champions you want in your team, you might not be able to pick your favorite jungler. This is why it's important to understand what champions work best with the ones you want and also consider their role on the team. For example, if you're playing a very aggressive mage mid laner such as Lissandra or Syndra then Warwick might not be the best choice because he doesn't provide much in terms of damage and requires his teammates to be tanky enough to take a lot of hits from turrets. In case you do want to play Warwick despite the fact that your mid laner is a mage, then make sure your team has somebody who can take the hits from turrets and deal some damage back.
3) Know when to pick a jungler
Knowing when to pick a jungler is important because it's not always clear whether or not it's the right choice for the current game. Factors such as enemy champions and lane matchups can influence whether or not picking a jungler will be beneficial for your team
