What Champions Do Elo Boosters Use In S10

In 2020, League of Legends is one of the most diverse MOBA games that you can play, with an entire 148 champions and more constantly being added to the pool.

With such a large selection, it's no surprise that different folks have different champions that they prefer to play, main, and even one trick. However, time and time again, our boosters get asked the question - "What champions do ELO boosters use to hard carry every single game?"

And while macro and micro-skills are definitely imperative when it comes to winning your games - undeniably, once you have a lead, some champions just snowball way harder than others. That's why in today's post, we've put together a comprehensive list of the top 3 champions ELO boosters use in Season 10!

1. Katarina, The Sinister Blade

Aside from being one of the most popular League of Legends champions hands down - Katarina is also one of the most frequent picks that boosters lock-in when they want to absolutely destroy the enemy team.

Due to her kit and the abundance of on-kill cool-down resets, Katarina not only has extreme mobility, but she's also able to dish out insane damage non-stop, which can lead to repeat pentakill after pentakill on her enemies. And thanks to the fact that she's excellent for roaming - a fed Katarina can apply a lot of objective and map pressure, allowing her team to catch up if they're behind, or snowball if they're ahead.

2. Fiora, The Grand Duelist

When we think of champions with a low mechanical learning curve and a crazy skill-cap that allows them to deal astounding damage against single targets and even in 1 vs. 2 situations - Fiora is one of the first that comes to mind.

She is one of the strongest duelists in the game and can out-trade just about any other champion throughout the course of the game. And while she definitely can play a significant role in team fights, Fiora also excels at split-pushing and taking important objectives solo. This allows her to be played in a very versatile manner, from snowballing her lane to roaming, applying map pressure, and even making important picks on stray enemies before disappearing into the fog of war.

3. Irelia, The Blade Dancer

If you've played more than just a couple of games of League of Legends, you've likely been in a situation where a fed Irelia absolutely face rolls your entire team. Despite constant attempts at re-balancing Irelia and micro-nerfs coming out every few patches, she remains one of the strongest champions in the game due to her considerable kit and the fact that she scales well all throughout the game.

Irelia has huge single-target damage output and has amazing sustain to keep her in-lane no matter how bad her match-up is. And all it takes to turn the tables on a losing lane is Irelia getting one kill. Once she takes off, there is very little that can stop Irelia, and she is one of the easiest champions to capitalize on poor macro-play and decision making mistakes by her opponents.

Conclusion

We've purposely left out a few champions like Riven, Talon, and Vayne due to the fact that all of them require considerable mechanical skills to really become powerful. The champions we've featured in today's post are entirely beginner-friendly while having a very high skill-cap that allows you to have more impact as your own skills grow.

Give them a shot, and with enough practice, you're sure to see a jump in ranks!
