Welcome to my blog on ranked seasons, splits, and end-of-split rewards in League of Legends! I'll be discussing everything you need to know about ranked seasons, splits, and rewards, and how you can make the most of each one. I'll also be giving my own personal tips and tricks on how to improve your rank, and how to make the most of your end-of-split rewards. So whether you're a rankeds pro or just starting out, I'll be here to help you out along the way!

The first thing I want to do is give my thanks to Riot Games and all of their employees for creating such an awesome game, and giving us so many opportunities to improve our skills while playing it. Without them, this blog wouldn't exist! So a huge thank you goes out to everyone at Riot who works hard to make this game as amazing as possible, especially those behind ranked seasons, splits, and end-of-split rewards.

Now, let's get started!

RANKED SEASONS AND SPLITS IN LEAGUE OF LEGENDS

First things first: what is a ranked season and split? A ranked season is the period of time during which League of Legends players are awarded a rank and rewarded with end-of-season (EoS) rewards. Ranked seasons last for one year at a time, so once each year all ranks reset and everyone starts over from level 1 again. A split is the part of a ranked season that lasts 6 months (3 months for each season). The current 2017 season is Season 8, and we're currently in Split 1.

You can find out more about ranked seasons and splits on Riot's official page here: https://www.leagueoflegends.com/game/ranked#season-reset

RANKED SEASON TIERS

So what are ranked seasons and splits? Well, they're basically a really cool way of improving your League of Legends skills while earning some pretty awesome rewards along the way! In a nutshell, they're an incentive for players to improve their rank during each season.

As you can see from my helpful chart above, there are 5 tiers within each ranked season and split: Bronze/Silver/Gold, Platinum/Diamond, Master/Challenger, Honor and Elite. Each tier has its own set of end-of-season (EoS) rewards and requirements for rewards. And, with each season and split, the requirements and rewards get progressively better!

So what are these ranks and rewards? Well, let's take a look...

TIER 1: BRONZE/SILVER/GOLD RANKED SEASONS AND SPLITS

First of all, in order to reach the next tier (Platinum/Diamond), you'll need to win your placement match at the end of each season. If you win enough games during placement, you'll be placed higher in your rank and rewarded with some cool new skins and rewards!

So let's take a look at the rewards for each tier:

Bronze/Silver/Gold ranked season and split rewards are pretty cool. You get an icon showing how many games it took you to reach that
